Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the quality of scholarly publishing. Reviewing a paper requires specialized knowledge, skills, and investment of time.
The editor selects and invites reviewers to complete the review based on review interests. However, the reviewer can decline the invitation if the content of the paper does not fit with their field.
